At 15:07 on Friday, 28 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Railway Embankment in Highley, Bridgnorth .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Knapsacks

Approximately 100 square meters of gorse on fire on the embankment. Fire extinguished using beaters and knapsacks
