At 09:47 on Sunday, 30 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire measuring approximately 2m by 3m which was out on arrival of crews. Crews used drag rakes and a hose reel jet to dampen down the area
