At 12:22 on Sunday, 30 June, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire Persons Reported.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Reports of a house filled with smoke- small fire involving unattended cooking, 1 casualty in care of West Midlands Ambulance service
