At 16:10 on Thursday, 4 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tractor Fire in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of a tractor alight in a field. Crews extinguished using 2 hosereel jets, with 4 breathing apparatus and 1 thermal imaging camera.
