At 07:56 on Saturday, 13 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Late Fire Call in Church Stretton.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Church Stretton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Electric Saws/Cutters
• Small gear

Incident involving fallen heat lamp onto carpet which has damaged carper, underlay and floorboards. Crews have cut affected area away using small tools and remscat saw and a thermal imaging camera to check for safe temperatures.
