At 08:13 on Wednesday, 17 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wem.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involving one van that has overheated. Crews used on hose reel jet to cool engine.
