At 14:05 on Thursday, 18 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Market Drayton.

5 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet, Newport, Prees, Shrewsbury and Whitchurch. Operations, Safety and Principal officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving oven within factory. Thorough investigation carried out. 12 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets used.
