At 21:24 on Sunday, 21 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Ford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One non articulated lorry alight that has been extinguished by Fire Service Personnel.
