At 19:20 on Wednesday, 24 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Baschurch.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Baschurch.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

This incident was a false alarm possibly due to build up of dust and insects in smoke detector head. System has now been reset with no further activation and full inspection of property carried out using a thermal imaging camera.
