At 13:04 on Friday, 26 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as RTC HGV in Hodnet.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Market Drayton, Wellington and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

This incident was a false alarm good intent.
