At 06:21 on Sunday, 28 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Bridgnorth.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Tweedale and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Three vehicle road traffic collision. Crews used Holmatro cutters to released casualties from vehicle. Casualties left in care of Ambulance service. A442 closed in both directions.
