At 15:07 on Thursday, 8 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Reports of a lorry's brakes on fire - incident involved over heating brakes crews used a hose reel jet to cool them
