At 14:08 on Thursday, 19 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

One van fully involved in fire. Cause was accidental due to electrical/mechanical issue. Fire crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and environmental pack.
