At 06:56 on Friday, 20 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

This incident involved 1 car port alight which slightly spread to the property. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 covering jet.
