At 05:36 on Thursday, 3 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire in engine compartment of saloon vehicle. Fire was found to be out upon arrival of Fire Service personnel, inspection only using thermal imaging camera.
