At 15:58 on Tuesday, 8 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Caldecott Crescent, Whitchurch .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wem and Whitchurch.

Call to smoke issuing from house. Incident was found to be a small fire in the kitchen involving cooking left unattended. No action required by fire crew.
