At 22:29 on Wednesday, 23 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Caravan Fire in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Telford. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

One motorhome fully involved in fire. 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and 1 thermal imaging camera used to extinguish fire. No casualties.
