At 07:08 on Monday, 28 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm good intent caused by a mechanical defect.
