At 16:12 on Saturday, 21 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

One SUV involved. One casualty had self extricated prior to fire service arrrival. Crews used small tools to make vehicle safe.
