At 04:57 on Sunday, 16 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Ashford Avenue, Pontesbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury.

Fire involving wheelie bin spread to garage of domestic property. 1 hose reel jet, 2 breathing apparatus, Remscat saw and other small tools used by fire crew to extinguish fire.
