At 08:06 on Monday, 2 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

One unattended fire which had spread to undergrowth. Crews extinguished using hose reel jet.
