At 11:36 on Tuesday, 8 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shifnal.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Small gear

This incident involved burnt cooking left unattended. Fire Service personnel used lock breaker to gain entry. Crews also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke.
