At 21:05 on Wednesday, 6 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

On arrival of fire crews they found no sign of smoke or fire in the area, crews used torches and the thermal imaging camera.
