At 20:42 on Friday, 26 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

False alarm caused by overheating in engine bay, crew used 1 hosereel jet to cool engine.
