At 12:36 on Sunday, 19 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Market Drayton and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This was a building fire involving large amounts of bark products on fire which crews have pulled out and extinguished. Crews have used one hosereel jet and thermal imaging camera.
