At 14:33 on Saturday, 1 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This was a fire involving the brakes on a light vehicle and extinguished prior to the arrival of the Fire Service. 1 hosereel jet was used by crews to cool the brakes before the vehicle was escorted to a place of safety and left in the care of the vehicle owner.
