At 15:51 on Saturday, 1 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a chimney fire in a domestic property involving a log burner. Crews used chimney rods and small gear to extinguish, and checked for residual hot spots using a thermal imaging camera.
