At 19:11 on Thursday, 6 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Tenbury Wells.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved fire within the flue of chimney of a wood burning stove. Crews used chimney rods, 1 hosereel jet and thermal image camera to check for hotspots. Assistance also from HWFRS.
