At 18:06 on Saturday, 8 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Weston Rhyn .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Report of a garden fire which had become out of control. Crews assisted the occupier by using a hose reel jet to dampen down the surrounding area.
