At 18:41 on Friday, 21 November, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Alarm had activated due to burnt cooking on stove top. Flat was heavily smoke logged and has been ventilated by Fire Service Personnel.
