At 00:11 on Tuesday, 6 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

On arrival of crews they found hot spots with the thermal imaging camera which was found to be smouldering wires. Crews used small gear.
