At 16:02 on Friday, 30 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Incident involved one car which come to rest on its roof, one person self extricated from vehicle and one person assisted from vehicle by crews.
