At 12:28 on Saturday, 13 December, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury.

False alarm good intent, crews called to a car fire but this was caused due to an overheating engine. No fire service action required.
