HGV Fire

At 14:23 on Thursday, 10 December, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as HGV Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving trailer of HGV, carrying bottled water. Crews have 2 hose reel jets and 2 breathing apparatus in use. The traffic is currently very congested on the A49 as a result
