At 17:16 on Friday, 1 January, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Wem.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Prees, Wellington and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

RTC involving 1 car which has left carriageway and come to rest on its roof. No persons trapped. Crews making vehicle safe. Ambulance also in attendance.
