At 23:56 on Wednesday, 23 March, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Rubbish Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water

Small quantity of newspaper alight. One bucket of water used to extinguish.
