At 12:27 on Saturday, 23 July, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Main jet

Fire involving an area of approximately 20m x 30m of grass. Also affected were one plastic portable toilet which has been destroyed by fire, and a quantity of plastic pallet wrapping.
