At 21:21 on Tuesday, 6 September, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Nr Whitchurch.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Prees, Wellington and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road traffic collision involving one van and one estate car. One person trapped and extricated by fire fighters using Holmatro rescue equipment, taken to hospital by ambulance along with another two casualties. Vehicles were made electrically safe
