At 13:02 on Saturday, 26 November, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Ellesmere.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involving battery charger and inverter on narrow boat. Out on arrival of fire crews. Crews removed battery charger using small gear
