At 00:08 on Monday, 9 January, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Bishops Castle.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bishops Castle.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

  • Small gear
  • Thermal imaging camera

Chimney fire contained to chimney breast. Small gear, thermal image camera and short ext ladder in use.
