At 21:14 on Monday, 17 April, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington.

Fire involving engine compartment of pick up and fascia of garage. Extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a high pressured hose reel jet.
