At 09:19 on Thursday, 19 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury .

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency and the Police.
