At 15:38 on Sunday, 29 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Caravan Fire in Caynton Cottages, Shifnal .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Albrighton and Telford Central.

Small fire involving electrics in touring caravan. Battery disconnected by occupier and fire out on arrival of fire appliance, inspection only required by fire service personnel.
