At 21:26 on Saturday, 6 December, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bedroom Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Fire involving first floor bedroom of 3 storey, semi detached, property. 6 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 1 covering jet and thermal imaging cameras used. Whole of building heavily smokelogged and positive pressure ventilation equipment used to assist with ventilating property. 1 rabbit rescued by fire service personnel from ground floor living room.
