At 08:52 on Sunday, 14 December, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Shrewsbury.

5 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender and the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

1 horse led to safety by Fire Service Personnel from a flooded field.
