At 16:31 on Sunday, 15 March, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ellesmere.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Wem.

Fire involving approximately 35 large bales of hay in field. Drag hooks and covering hose reel jet in use.
