At 11:13 on Sunday, 27 September, 2015, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Aircraft Microlight in Cleobury Mortimer.

6 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit, the Pinzgauer and the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Report of micro light crash, approximately 4000sqm of ground searched including a wider area by Police helicopter. All 4 search teams report no sign of aircraft, all agencies stood down.
