At 20:51 on Friday, 29 June, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Bridgnorth.

11 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit, the Incident Command Unit, the Incident Support Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Albrighton, Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer, Much Wenlock, Telford Central, Tweedale and Wellington. Operations, Hazmat, Fire Investigation and Safety officers were in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.
