At 18:21 on Saturday, 7 July, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Dawley.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Telford Central.

Fire involving approx 200 sqms of grass and undergrowth, beaters, knapsack and extended hose reel jet in use.
