At 13:30 on Sunday, 12 May, 2019, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a hedge fire. Crews used 1 hosereel jet to extinguish.
